We will NEVER place any pictures of the children or their activities online. We only use/show images on our internal whatsapp groups.
About Us
At Droomland Christian Educare Centre we believe in DREAMS
We will take care of them and encourage them to explore and learn new things. They will get healthy and nutritious food prepared with love. We will always comfort them when they are upset and crying and try and understand. We believe there is no better sound than kids laughing, and thus we strive to make them laugh and be happy all the time.

Our Story
In 1999 her dream came true when she started Droomland
Christian Edu - Care Centre with space for 57 children. Her mission was not just to give children of working parents the best possible care, but to assist single mothers in a fresh start with the peace of mind that they can earn a living while their little ones get all the attention and love they deserve. Every year the school also aims to accommodate one or two Gr R students from Durbanville Children’s Home as their way of making a difference.

In 2006 we grew to over 70 children, and had to add more classes. Since then the creche has grown from strength to strength and now boasts 87 children.

We are here for them with our hearts filled to the brim with love and compassion for their needs. Our aim is to provide your child with all the opportunities they need to improve necessary life-skills. We nurture a Positive self-image, encourage Communication, Creativity and Cultural acceptance. We display an example of Emotional behaviour, Problem solving, Socialising and out-the-box thinking. In addition, we hope to encourage and develop attitudes and values in your children: Flexibility, Charity, Sense of duty, Thankfulness, Honesty, Respect, Love, Responsibility, Trust, Appreciation, Consideration, Empathy, Helpfulness, Independence and Loyalty.

The educare centre boasts an excellent hand-picked and exceptionally-trained staff of 11, some who have been an integral part of the success story from as far back as 2003. They are, in Amanda’s own words: “An amazing group of women, with a deep-rooted passion for children that are always willing to walk the extra mile.” Every teacher holds a pediatric first aid diploma and this gets renewed every 2 years.
